Electricity Sales

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help customers get the best electricity rate for their home
• Listen to customer concerns to find the best product that fits their needs
• Use Closing techniques to overcome objections
• Speak with over 30 residential customers daily
• Meet and exceed sales quotas while seeking new ways to improve their approach
• Try new and non-traditional ways to connect with customers and remain open to feedback
• Share ideas across teams to improve our capabilities and products
• Maintain a high level of open communication and morale at Compare Power and within our sales team
• Adhere to Compare Power's attendance and tardiness polices

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ year of inside sales experienced preferred
• 1+ year experience in the energy industry a plus but not required
• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work in a high-energy sales environment as a team player
• A desire to deeply understand customer needs and frustrations to build rapport over the phone and via text
• Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Strong oral and written commitment skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Demonstrated ability in computer skills, including email, CRM system & Web-based tools
