Responsibilities- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and cultivate potential clients through proactive outreach, cold calling, and networking. - Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction and renewals. - Client Consultations:
Meet with clients to understand their energy needs, risk tolerance, and how we can best serve them. - Continuous Learning:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities. - Sales Presentations:
Compose and deliver compelling sales presentations, communicating the benefits of energy products and services to potential clients. - Negotiation and Closing:
Address client concerns and objections, with the goal of closing sales and achieving revenue targets. - Collaboration with Teams:
Work with internal teams such as operations and management to ensure a seamless customer experience. - CRM Management:
Use Hub Spot to track leads, manage accounts, and optimize the sales process.
- 3 or more years’ experience in the energy industry (retail gas and/or electricity, sustainability, solar, demand response, etc.) or an industry that translates easily.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B outside sales.
- Experience identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and other channels.
- Ability to work autonomously while embracing a team‑oriented sales process.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and the drive to independently lead sales initiatives.
- Ambition, passion, teamwork, and grit.
- BA/BS degree preferred.

Base salary: $75,000–$175,000 per year, with the flexibility to go higher for candidates with exceptional experience and skills. Uncapped commission potential – top performers earn well above the base salary. Compensation packages are tailored individually.
