Our Dallas branch is growing, and we’re looking for an Inside Sales Representative who understands how a plumbing supply house runs and how to keep customers happy by staying one step ahead.
What You’ll DoAs an Inside Sales Rep, you’ll be the point person for customers who depend on us for accuracy, reliability, and expertise. This isn’t just order entry; it’s about understanding the flow of a job, knowing the products, and catching details that others might miss.
- Review customer orders and proactively identify missing items or potential issues before they cause delays
- Assist customers with pricing, product selection, availability, and order placement
- Provide accurate quotes and process sales orders efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, plumbers, and key accounts
- Coordinate closely with counter sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams
- Follow up on orders, backorders, and delivery timelines to keep jobs on track
- Resolve issues with urgency and professionalism
- Stay current on product lines, specs, vendor updates, and industry trends
- Use Epicor Eclipse (Solar) and other tools to process orders, check stock, and manage documentation
- Solid plumbing supply or construction materials knowledge
You understand how jobs are built, what products go together, and can spot missing parts or inconsistencies in customer orders. - Inside sales or supply house experience
- Epicor Eclipse experience (big plus)
- Strong communication, follow-through, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A customer-first mindset and a team-first attitude
