Sales Engineer
CIMON is a global industrial automation manufacturer that designs and develops its own hardware and software products, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA software, industrial monitors, and industrial computing platforms. Founded in 1999 and headquartered near Seoul, South Korea, CIMON serves customers across manufacturing, process industries, and infrastructure markets worldwide. CIMON competes in the industrial automation market by offering reliable, technically solid products with flexible architectures, strong support, and competitive total system cost, and its solutions are used by OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end users across industries such as manufacturing, packaging, water and wastewater, food and beverage, energy, and general industrial automation.
The U.S. organization is focused on expanding market awareness, supporting regional sales growth, and building long‑term market presence across North America.
The Entry‑Level Sales Engineer is a developmental, early‑career role designed for individuals who want to build a long‑term career in industrial automation and technical B2B sales. This role supports customer development and sales execution while building foundational technical knowledge of CIMON’s products and solutions. The Entry‑Level Sales Engineer works closely with Regional Sales Associates/Managers, Inside Sales, Technical Support, and senior sales leadership to support prospecting, customer outreach, demonstrations, and opportunity development.
This position is intentionally structured as a training‑focused entry point into CIMON’s sales organization. While the role does not carry full territory ownership initially, it provides hands‑on exposure to real customers, real applications, and real sales activity, with increasing responsibility over time. The role requires curiosity, coachability, and the ability to learn technical products quickly. While deep technical expertise is not required at the start, the Entry‑Level Sales Engineer is expected to steadily develop a working understanding of CIMON’s PLCs, HMIs, SCADA software, and industrial hardware, and to become comfortable discussing basic technical concepts and applications with customers.
This is a full‑time, onsite role based in Texas, with collaboration across teams in South Korea and Las Vegas. Limited regional travel is required and will increase gradually as responsibility grows.
