The Junior Design Consultant is a design and sales enthusiast who has high energy and loves to build relationships within the design industry. You will attend to the day‑to‑day operations of the Dallas showroom, service interior designers with trim selection, and support other Samuel and Sons team members as necessary.
Job Responsibilities:- Offer product suggestions to clients pertaining to pattern, color, etc.
- Educate designers on trim use and inspire them with schemes, social media, etc.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience and aspire to exceed client expectations.
- Attend to day‑to‑day showroom operations including stock and price checks, reservation and order processing, and client follow‑ups.
- Request product as necessary; place sample order requests and update showroom inventory.
- Assist with the showroom display set‑up, takedown, and merchandising.
- Responsible for meeting sales quotas and personal goals.
- Assist Outside Sales Associate by sending memo samples, scheming, etc., as directed.
- All other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
- Passion for design and excellent sense of color and scheming
- Organized, professional, and a team player
- High level of energy with the ability to multitask
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Applications
- Sales experience, preferably in a showroom environment
- Design experience is highly preferred

Salary$40K to $50K Annually
Samuel & Sons, in good faith, believes that this posted range of compensation is the accurate range for this role at this location at the time of this posting. Samuel & Sons may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
