The Control, Sensors, and Safety Specialist is expected to provide sales support to assist business development managers with the selection, acquisition, installation, and commissioning of application‑specific solutions. The role acts as the primary technical expert on basic control, sensors, and safety applications—including proximity, temperature, pressure, vision, and light curtain applications— and will also provide technical training to staff and customers.

• Applies safe‑work practices for the selection and installation of controls, sensors, and safety solutions.
• Identifies and selects application‑specific solutions.
• Provides recommendations and technical expertise in the selection of sensors and safety products for customer applications.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of the installation requirements and best practices for applications.
• Makes joint sales calls with field sales staff in support of applications.
• Provides technical support to internal and external customers.
• Conducts training for internal associates and customers.
• Achieves revenue and growth goals.
• Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Develops and maintains positive relations with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Multi‑tasks and works effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Works full‑time or overtime as necessary.
