Responsibilities- Develop and manage SLED relationships in North Texas/Dallas with direct account management within the assigned territory.
- Apply a consultative services sales approach and leverage disruptive technology when appropriate.
- Understand SLED technical challenges and account complexities within the Texas territory.
- Leverage E-Rate knowledge and experience where applicable.
- Navigate diverse selling motions of SLED, including contracts and programs, and identify traditional and non-traditional paths to market.
- Focus on technology sales across Network, Collaboration, Security, Data and AI, Professional Services, Data Centers and Cloud.
- Develop new customer relationships and interpret client challenges to design appropriate solutions.
- Plan accounts with an extended team, engage at all organizational levels, and manage partner relationships.
- Demonstrate outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Represent the role with the appropriate level of professionalism in the Dallas market.
- 8+ years of existing and successful SLED relationships in North Texas/Dallas, with direct account management experience within the assigned territory.
- Executive-level customer experience.
- Experience with a consultative services sales approach and/or disruptive technology.
- Understanding of SLED technical challenges and account complexities within the Texas territory.
- E-Rate knowledge and experience is highly desired.
- Ability to navigate diverse selling motions of SLED, including contracts and programs, and creatively identify traditional and non-traditional paths to market.
- Ideal experience includes technology sales focused on Network, Collaboration, Security, Data and AI, Professional Services, Data Centers and Cloud.
- Strong skills in developing new relationships with customers and interpreting clients technical challenges to develop appropriate solutions.
- Strong account planning skills with an extended team, ability to call at all levels within the customer s organization, and manage partner relationships.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Reside in the Dallas Metro Area.
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $90,000.00 to $ annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
