Overview:
Texas Johns is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Assistant Manager to support our sales team in the Houston area. We are a growing company offering tremendous growth potential and opportunities for individuals keen on advancing their careers. The Sales Assistant Manager will play a key role in assisting the sales team by providing leadership and driving sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team in developing and executing strategic plans to enhance direct sales.
  • Support the team in building and maintaining a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
  • Facilitate communication with customers and leads to identify their product or service needs.
  • Promote products and services in alignment with customer needs to achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective relationship management and after-sales support.
  • Maintain comprehensive reports and records of sales activities, including calls, orders, and any relationship issues.
  • Monitor market trends, research competitors, and provide relevant feedback to sales strategies.
  • Prepare periodic sales forecasts and contribute insights into team meetings.
  • Support team members in project management and related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in construction and special events, with familiarity in navigating construction sites.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with strong consultative sales ability.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM and lead generation software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with project management is advantageous.
