We invite motivated, curious, and driven undergraduate students or recent graduates to apply for our Product Merchandising Internship. This program offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into the business and culture of Lucchese, gaining hands-on experience and insight into the world of luxury retail. As an intern, you'll work closely with industry experts and gain exposure to various facets of the business, enhancing both your personal and professional growth.
Role Overview:
As a Product Merchandising Intern, you'll play a key role in assisting our team with developing, buying, and managing our men's and women's apparel collections. Reporting to the Associate Merchandiser, you will support day-to-day merchandising tasks aimed at optimizing product placement across multiple channels to meet sales and margin goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the merchandising team with tracking and organizing product samples for the digital team.
- Provide administrative support and assist in product setup and order entry.
- Coordinate with store teams to gather essential product knowledge and ensure consistent communication.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct market research to provide insights on product trends and consumer preferences.
- Contribute to various ad hoc projects to support the team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to express ideas clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with a bonus for familiarity with Net Suite, Adobe, or Air Table.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for fashion, retail, and luxury brands, with an interest in pursuing a career in product merchandising.
- Creative, proactive, and eager to learn and take on new challenges.
- Consumer-focused mindset with a strong understanding of customer needs.
- 0-2 years of experience in product merchandising, retail, wholesale sales, or a related field.
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a bachelor's or master's degree in fashion merchandising, marketing, business administration, or a similar field.
- Ability to work in Dallas, Texas, for the duration of the internship (relocation and housing are not provided).
- Hands-on experience with a prestigious luxury brand in the retail industry.
- Exposure to multiple aspects of product merchandising and the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams.
