• Proficient in Spanish/English; ability to interact with customers, co‑workers, and understand product labels and instructions.
• Willingness to write simple correspondence and present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions for detailed tasks.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

The Utilities Clerk assists in proper maintenance of the store, particularly the Produce Department, and provides support to customers on the store floor as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Properly bag groceries when requested and carry items to customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Retrieve and return carts, run price checks, assist with go‑backs, maintain the checkout stand, and remove waste from the parking area.

The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store. Essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory tasks.
