• Provide excellent customer service to bakery customers.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean shelving, display cases, and self‑serve displays in the front and adjacent areas.
• Work with the Baker to determine items to be baked or decorated.
• Maintain department cleanliness, including hosing down floors with soap and water.
• Support general store operations under direct supervision of the Bakery Manager.

• Fluent in Spanish and English; able to read, write, and communicate in both languages.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.

• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.
