• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers, maintain cleanliness, rotate the self‑serve displays, and clean display cases and shelves.
• Work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends.
• Perform heavy lifting, bending, stooping, and kneeling as required.

• Read and write Spanish / English; interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information one‑on‑one and in small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds (including 25 pounds, 45 pounds, and 60 pounds).

Under the direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The role includes assisting customers, cleaning display cases and shelves, and rotating the self‑serve displays. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, requiring physical endurance and visual and auditory awareness.
