Under direct supervision, the Tortilleria Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. The position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates tortilla displays, and helps make a variety of tortillas and masa for the department. You will operate in a fast‑paced grocery store environment, lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and performing visual and auditory tasks.

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC / Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

Food Handler Card (or equivalent certification) is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
