• Write and read Spanish/English, interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, etc.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25, 45, or 60 pounds as needed.

Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. This position includes assisting customers, cleaning display cases, rotating self‑serve displays, and performing heavy lifting, bending, and stooping as required. The role requires a variety of hours, including nights and weekends.

The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store. Essential functions include lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, visual and auditory requirements.
