Locations:
Harwood District, Uptown, Dallas – Marie Gabrielle Restaurant and Gardens, a 1.5-acre garden oasis with an extensive event space and European-influenced design.
Harwood Hospitality Group delivers an escape from the ordinary through a growing collection of concepts in the Harwood District with catering and culinary experiences across 18 concepts plus Hotel Swexan, in development. Position is part-time and on-call; hours are determined by business needs.
Responsibilities- Assist other servers in monitoring and coordinating day-to-day operations in their section; ensure all FOH SOPs (including HACCP) are followed and executed.
- Interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment; maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Prepare and serve drinks according to proper mix ratios; deliver to guests in a pleasant manner.
- Provide spotless service and meet guestst expectations down to the smallest detail.
- Maintain equipment, materials, and utensils in good working condition; report defects to the Restaurant Manager; arrange for maintenance as needed.
- Greet guests warmly and create a pleasant, comfortable experience.
- Maintain current knowledge of bar inventory and drink recipes; understand food, wine, cocktails, and beers.
- Engage guests with appropriate conversation; communicate effectively with the manager, servers, and host/hostess to ensure an enjoyable guest experience.
- Take drink orders in line with HH bar service standards; ensure accurate entry of orders and timely service.
- Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and HH policies; complete all required documentation and cash handling procedures.
- Replenish bar snacks as needed; manage requisitions, par levels, and supply lists.
- Maintain daily cleanliness of the bar and side stations; ensure proper reconciliation of documentation.
- Be adaptable, a good communicator, ethical, knowledgeable, productive, and a team player.
This job operates in a restaurant setting and requires standing for extended periods and ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
Position Type and HoursNote:
This is a part-time, on-call position. Hours are determined by business needs. Flexibility in hours Monday through Sunday is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- TABC and Texas Food Handler Certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
