REPORTS TO: Harvest Hall Operations Manager
STATUS

Non-Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant. Toast POS
  • Ability to serve a large section quickly and efficiently.
  • Communicating orders clearly with bartenders.
  • Maintain knowledge on all drink recipes.
  • Serve beverages to guests maintain levels of excellence service.
  • Perform side work as assigned.
  • Operate point of sale system.
  • Straighten chairs and keep floor free of debris.
  • Clean service area and replenish as needed.
  • Bus and set tables.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Restaurant Manager and/or Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Communicate with support crew and management.
  • Respond appropriately to guest needs and do so with a sense of urgency.
  • Adhere to the Cash Handling Policy. End and total the check double-check for accuracy and have host sign it.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of wine and other alcoholic beverages and have the ability to explain to guests.
  • Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers and TABC license.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous bartending or cocktail serving experience preferred.
