Non-Exempt
- Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant. Toast POS
- Ability to serve a large section quickly and efficiently.
- Communicating orders clearly with bartenders.
- Maintain knowledge on all drink recipes.
- Serve beverages to guests maintain levels of excellence service.
- Perform side work as assigned.
- Operate point of sale system.
- Straighten chairs and keep floor free of debris.
- Clean service area and replenish as needed.
- Bus and set tables.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Restaurant Manager and/or Director of Food and Beverage.
- Communicate with support crew and management.
- Respond appropriately to guest needs and do so with a sense of urgency.
- Adhere to the Cash Handling Policy. End and total the check double-check for accuracy and have host sign it.
- Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of wine and other alcoholic beverages and have the ability to explain to guests.
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers and TABC license.
- Previous bartending or cocktail serving experience preferred.
