The College of Dentistry is looking for an Research Associate to serve in the Public Health Sciences department. We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of experience to the position and understand the demands of supporting executives in a fast-paced environment. This person must be professional, enjoy working in a high-volume environment and be able to apply strong organizational skills while being flexible in their daily routine.

** Work Schedule/
Location:
** Located in Dallas, TX, this an on-site role with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Two years of related experience in dentistry, research or lab setting.
* Familiarity with appropriate laboratory and/or technical equipment.
* Ability to effectively utilize a computer and applicable software.
* Attention to detail.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a demonstrated ability to craft persuasive and compelling content.
* Strong research abilities and the capacity to synthesize complex information into clear and concise written materials.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
* Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work that reflects our professionalism and expertise.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe program suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
* Experience with technical writing, proposal development, and grant writing.
* Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and grant funding mechanisms.
* History of strong written communications skills, ability to write clear, structured, articulate and persuasive proposals
* Previous history of grant writing, publication, and/or successful federal/foundational grant funding
* Masters or Doctoral degree.
