- Assist Real Estate attorneys in the Real Estate Finance Practice Group.
- Work with clients, title companies, agencies directly.
- Hybrid position – three days in office, two days remote.
- Experience with lender side of commercial real estate closings; title, survey, zoning review; assist closing attorneys with lender requirements.
- Review real estate documents – title, survey, zoning reports.
- Analyze title commitment, title exception documents and surveys, zoning reports; prepare letters to obtain lender’s loan policies and approved surveys; assist attorneys with related items for closing.
- Work directly with surveyors, title companies, zoning consultants, third‑party vendors as required for transaction.
- Conduct due diligence during closing process to obtain proforma loan policies, surveys, zoning reports.
- Other duties as needed to support the Commercial Real Estate Finance Practice Group.
- Work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- High professionalism and interpersonal skills; work well internally and externally, maintain strict confidence.
- Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Detail oriented, extremely organized; manage multiple projects, follow through without prompting.
- Process routine daily functions while resolving sensitive issues and assignments.
- Five years of experience in commercial real estate as a paralegal.
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent.
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000, depending on experience.
