Manager Real Estate is a first level manager that manages the day-to-day operations of the organization’s real estate portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives through strategic planning, lease management, and efficient transaction execution. This role leads a team and collaborates with stakeholders to optimize real estate assets and support growth initiatives.

Overview

The Manager Real Estate oversees the day-to-day management of the real estate portfolio and leads a team to align activities with organizational goals, including strategy, lease management, and transaction execution.

Responsibilities
  • Implement strategies to manage the organization s real estate portfolio, including acquisitions, leases, and dispositions.
  • Manage lease administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and managing renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Support negotiations for real estate transactions, including site selection, leases, purchases, and sales, ensuring favorable terms.
  • Analyze market trends, property values, and economic conditions to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as legal, finance, and operations, to align real estate activities with organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with brokers, landlords, and other external partners to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Conduct financial analyses, including ROI, cost-benefit, and investment evaluations, to support decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the real estate portfolio, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to real estate transactions and property management.
  • Manage a team of real estate specialists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Develop and present real estate strategies and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance real estate management efficiency.
  • Support organizational growth initiatives by providing insights and expertise on site selection and property development.
  • Provide direction to team according to established policies and management guidance.
  • Review relevant factors to analyze situations and resolve issues.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 6-8 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 1-3 years of management experience.

  • Focused on and responsible for their team s productivity and collective impact.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively.

  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite of products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
