Quality Control Technician-E.O.L 1st shift

Position Details

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday;
Saturday work may be required up to 50% of the time.

Location: 9001 Ambassador Row, Dallas, TX 75247

Pay range: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

• Conduct audits and inspections of material at all stages, and of each process while providing feedback
• Communicate audit findings with the production team in process and during standup meetings
• Review and analyze audit findings for containment and corrective action follow-up with the team
• Aid in document control activities – posting documents, follow-through with approvers
• Use calipers and other measuring devices to conduct standard testing of both finished goods
• Aid in identifying best practices in the manufacturing of windows
• Document non-conformities and oversee completion of NCR activities
• Validate product conformance when process adjustments are made

• Ability to work with little supervision
• Good organization and time management skills
• Detail oriented
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment
• Ability to understand technical concepts
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Proficiency with PCs
• Quality Assurance background desired
• Bilingual English/Spanish desired
• Basic understanding of 5 Why process to troubleshoot, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions desired
