Qualifications- DVM degree from an AVMA-recognized institution
- Current veterinary license in the practicing state
- Employment interview and background check
- Two letters of recommendation from clinical faculty (for new grads)

- The ECMP is a 1-year training program with a 1-year ER commitment, starting with mentored training and specialty rotations, followed by a full ER doctor role in the second year earning salary plus production pay
