Dog Hotel Overnight Attendant Dallas

We’re Yardstick, a boutique dog hotel launched in Nashville that is coming to Dallas in February 2025. Our suites-only concept aims to reimagine dog hospitality by offering more personalized care in a stress-free, elevated environment.

This is an overnight position that will be responsible for overseeing the facility while the dogs are asleep. Applicants must be passionate about dogs, dependable and of high integrity.

What you’ll do

• Oversee the facility overnight, predominantly while the dogs are asleep
• At times, recognize unusual canine behavior and respond appropriately
• Perform a series of cleaning duties so that we can start each day with a facility representative of our high brand standards
• Document and inform the incoming morning team of any overnight activity so they’re equipped to provide dogs with superior care

What’s required

• High integrity, trustworthy and very dependable
• Self-motivated and the ability to work alone
• Must be comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and breeds (prior experience in the pet services industry is a plus, but not required)
• Available to work night shift during weekends and holidays -- we are open 365 days a year
• Reliable transportation
