Overview
The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision in a clinical setting in Lubbock, TX.
Responsibilities- Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Develops treatment plans, prescribes medications, and educates patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and maintains accurate documentation.
- Participates in staff meetings and quality initiatives, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications include: Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least 1 year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
ScheduleSchedule: 2 days/week, 8 hours/day, with potential for additional shifts.
RequirementsRequirements: Ability to work in person, stand/walk for extended periods, lift patients safely, and relocate to Snyder, TX before starting.
