Burn ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Dallas, TX (Night Shift)

Burn ICU RN Job Details

  Dallas, TX 75203 (Texas nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting:
  Burn Intensive Care Unit (BICU)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 22, 2025 – December 22, 2025)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570–$1680 per week
• Employment Type:

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Burn ICU, critical care, or intensive care nursing
• Experience with Epic EMR charting required
• BLS certification (AHA preferred; military acceptable)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Ability to complete required modules (8-12 hours pre-start and during orientation)
• State-issued  prior to submission

Burn ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to burn patients in the ICU setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress in a critical care environment
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and provide advanced therapies as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment, recovery, and burn care processes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies and procedures
