Full‑Time Nights 7P‑7A.

Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on critically ill patients with congenital heart disease and/or undergoing surgery. Organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document, and maintain individualized, family‑centered, holistic plans of care. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. Participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvement. Provide high‑quality age‑specific care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and young adult populations.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas or a compact license.
• CCRN preferred.
• Congenital Heart Experience and/or high‑acuity PICU experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year PICU or CHSU RN experience.
