Nursing Supervisor (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) – Evenings / Full Time

Join Texas Health Resources as a Nursing Supervisor (RN) in the Emergency Department at Dallas, TX. This role supports critical patient care in a fast‑paced environment and leads a team of RN nurses during evenings. The position requires a Baccalaureate degree in nursing (preferred) and 2+ years of ED nursing experience, including prior charge or lead experience.

Work Hours & Location
  • Full‑time, evening shifts with variable hours and weekend/holiday coverage.
  • Dallas, TX – 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231.
Emergency Department Highlights
  • High‑level trauma center with ECMO and comprehensive heart attack and stroke centers.

Qualifications & Certifications
  • Associate’s degree in nursing required;
    Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 2+ years of RN experience with charge or leadership role.
  • Essential certifications: RN, Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (BCLS, ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Additional certifications:
    Crisis Prevention Intervention, Trauma Nursing Core Course, Advanced Trauma Care Nurse, as applicable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to perform in a high‑pressure environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and safety oversight of ED services.
  • Lead and mentor RN staff to ensure quality care and compliance with protocols.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient needs.
  • Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.
