Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! This position will support the Infusion Department at our Dallas Presbyterian location. This is a full-time Monday‑Friday (8:30 am‑5 pm) position with no weekends, calls, or major holidays.

Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)

LTIP is an incentive program that typically vests over a three‑year period and is tied to individual performance and the operational success of Texas Oncology
. Awards are discretionary, reviewed and approved during the annual compensation review, and are subject to continued employment through the award payment date.

Role Overview

Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. The RN demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental differences across age groups, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and supports the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
  • Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material.
  • Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
  • Administer all medications/blood products using correct dosage, route, time, and technique.
  • Ensure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained before administering therapies where applicable.
  • Facilitate dose modification by assessing patient, evaluating labs, consulting protocols or treatment plans, calculating dose, and consulting physicians regarding dosage modifications, problems, and symptom management.
  • Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
  • Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 0‑3 years of RN experience.
  • Willingness to consider entry, mid, or senior level candidate.
  • Current RN state license in the practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

The work environment includes possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medical preparations common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Physical Requirements

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extensive periods, occasional lifting or carrying items up to 40 lbs, and corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
