As the Supervisor of the Oncology Infusion Clinic, you will lead a team of skilled oncology nurses and clinical staff who deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments. This position plays a key role in supporting clinical operations, driving process improvement, and fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and professional growth.
Responsibilities- Oversees and/or teaches others specialized knowledge and skills necessary to perform techniques and routines in area of specialty.
- Provides operational management of daily patient care services.
- Assesses, monitors, and evaluates systems for delivery of care.
- Assists in development of patient care standards of practice and personnel performance.
- Designs, executes, and delivers effective system of internal controls applicable and in compliance to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Facilitates teamwork through planned group processes, (i.e., workshops, seminars, and staff meetings).
- Supervises nursing staff and/or other non-licensed medical or office support personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education – Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience – 5 years of general nursing to include 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Licenses and Certifications –
RN licensure as Registered Nurse by Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas Upon Hire and BLS Upon Hire.
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree (BSN).
- Experience – 1 year Oncology experience.
