Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: January 13, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas

Schedule: Day and night shifts available; 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• 16-bed Progressive Care Unit in a collaborative team environment
• Consistent 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with dedicated charge nurse and PCT support
• Meditech EMR system with modern collaborative equipment
• No on-call requirement; floating only to similar acuity units (PCU/Telemetry)
• Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs per shift
• Night shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs per shift

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or eligibility for compact state licensure
• Progressive Care Unit experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong collaborative and team-oriented approach to patient care
