Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) night shift position in Dallas, TX requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

• Work in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital unit focused on chronic patient populations
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment
• Care provided on the Chronic 3 department
• Floating may be required within a 25-mile radius
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Staff must clock in and out electronically for timekeeping
• Current permanent employees must be resigned before starting a travel assignment
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment; renewals must be completed before start
• Full compliance documentation required prior to assignment

• Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; RQI and RCIS certifications not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of recent LTAC or Med/Surg RN experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must not be currently working as a permanent employee at any location while on assignment
• Provide full US Social Security Number for consideration;
  Canadian SIN not accepted
