Licensed Vocational Nurse / LVN – Heart & Vascular Specialists Clinic – Full‑time, Day Shift

• Hours:
  
  Full time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
• Travel:
  Approximately 25% to surrounding clinics; mileage reimbursement provided

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Texas license (required)
• Accredited practical nursing program (required)
• Knowledge of basic nursing processes and healthcare technology/equipment
• Understanding of state nursing laws, practice guidelines, and clinic policies
• Effective communication with staff and patients
• Sound judgment & composure; ability to act in emergency situations
• Positive, caring attitude toward staff and patients
• Strong work ethic and professionalism
• Efficient time management skills

• Deliver patient care using the LVN process
• Triage patient calls and communicate with the provider
• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care for selected patient populations and families
• Perform specialty cardiology nursing care
• Collect patient data (vital signs, observations) and report findings
• Prepare patient records and files with established medical record forms and systems
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor/ document treatment progress and patient response
• Perform other duties as assigned
