8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231.

Work Hours:

Full time, 40 Hours/week;
Monday-Friday 06:30-15:00, with on call and holiday coverage required.

• Texas Health Dallas has 24 Main OR Suites, 2 Endovascular rooms, 3 Robot rooms, 2 Heart rooms.
• Fast Paced, High Volume of Open Vascular, Endo Vascular, and Hearts.
• Level I Trauma facility. Strong Minimally Invasive CV program.

• Associate degree Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN (Preferred).
• 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program (Required).
• 2 years of Experience as a registered nurse in the Operating Room.
• CVOR experience preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse (Required upon hire).
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire).
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Upon hire preferred).

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• OR RN Surgery Circulator duties and skills.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information.
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
