In collaboration with KG Workforce Solutions, the Retina Foundation

is seeking a Development & Events Project Manager. This role will help execute mission-critical fundraising efforts in Dallas, Texas for an innovative non-profit organization at the forefront of world-class research and scientific expansion.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field, plus seven (7) years of relevant non-profit experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience in event planning, project management, fundraising events, philanthropic services, donor engagement, or development operations.
  • Demonstrated experience working with high-net-worth donors, major donors, sponsors, and corporate partners.
  • Operationally minded, with strong analytical skills and comfort using data, reports, and donor management systems.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific or technical information into clear, engaging messages for general audiences.
  • A resilient, resourceful, and adaptable mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in an applicable field of study.
  • Major gifts and capital campaign experience.
  • Education or experience in life sciences.

Work Parameters

Full-time, 40 hours per week, limited nights and weekends for events.
