The Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA) is seeking a seasoned Executive Director to lead a rapidly growing medical humanitarian organization delivering life‑saving care in conflict and displacement settings.
This executive role is ideal for a proven leader with deep experience in U.S. nonprofit governance (501(c)(3)), institutional growth, donor‑funded programs, and complex humanitarian operations. The Executive Director will lead SAPA’s U.S. headquarters, partner closely with the Board, and provide strategic oversight for large‑scale emergency and health system programs in Sudan and the region.
We’re looking for leaders with:
- 10+ years of senior leadership in humanitarian, global health, or international development
- Strong experience in nonprofit compliance, audits, and institutional grants
- A track record in fundraising, partnerships, and scaling organizations
- Executive presence, strategic vision, and operational discipline
