CommUNITY Market Volunteer

Volunteers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays assist with the in-market shopping experience as shopping ambassadors, unloading distribution trucks, stocking shelves and bagging customer items.

Empowering the Masses is a Christian, faith-based organization that aims to use our model of Education + Advocacy = Empowerment in order to provide the resources that allow communities to be self-sustaining. We are currently accepting volunteers for our community market and drive-thru food pantry located at 3220 Samuell Blvd. Dallas, TX 75223.

• Please dress comfortably and wear closed-toed shoes (non-slip if possible). Please dress for the weather and cooler temperatures. There isn't any room for personal items, so please pack sparingly.

• Our success relies not only on our expertise but also on our willingness to adapt and support each other. We are all a team, and we speak to each other with love, kindness, and compassion.

• Please aim to arrive at the start of your respective shift.
• Park at the rear section of our Community Market parking lot or around our drive-through area.
• As parking space is limited, I encourage carpooling whenever feasible. Samuell Grand Park also has public parking for overflow and later arrivals.
