This organization is looking for a strategic, hands-on Head of Marketing to help unify their brand, build compelling content, and drive high-impact programs that enable sales and position the company as a technical leader in their industry. This is a high-visibility, execution-oriented role for a marketing leader who thrives at the intersection of technical storytelling, sales enablement, and brand positioning. You’ll be responsible for:
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Translating complex aviation systems into clear, compelling messaging
- Building and managing marketing programs across digital, events, content, and sales enablement
- Supporting aftermarket sales through collateral, campaigns, and customer-facing content
- Driving alignment across Heads Up and our group companies to deliver a unified brand story
- You’ll work closely with leadership, sales, engineering, and external contractors to build a marketing engine that drives measurable impact
- Develop and maintain unified messaging across brands (Heads Up, STG, Alto, IA)
- Oversee website updates, product pages, and content hubs
- Manage creative and design vendors to ensure brand consistency
- Maintain a rolling content calendar and marketing roadmap
- Produce high-quality content such as sell sheets, pitch decks, product briefs, retrofit catalogs and capability summaries, case studies and customer success stories
- Partner with sales to understand field needs and prioritize enablement tools Coordinate aftermarket marketing campaigns (email, digital, ABM pilots)
- Support major industry events (e.g., NBAA, AIX, MRO) with pre/post-show strategy, booth assets, and demo material
- Manage external freelancers and contractors for design, web, SEO, or copywriting
- Track and report on performance metrics: asset usage, lead conversion, engagement
- Support PR/media placements and thought leadership with external partners
- 5–8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or industrial tech
- Proven success in content development, campaign execution, and sales enablement
- Strong ability to translate complex technical offerings into customer-facing messaging
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering
- Hands‑on capability in tools like Hub Spot, Word Press, SharePoint, Canva, Adobe Suite, or Figma
- Strong project management and vendor coordination skills
- Comfortable operating in a hybrid strategic + tactical role (you’ll both lead and build)
- Background in aviation/aerospace systems, CMS/IFE, lighting, or audio tech
- Experience with STC/PMA‑related marketing for retrofit or aftermarket
- Familiarity with account‑based marketing (ABM) or aftermarket sales channels
- Trade show or event marketing experience (e.g., managing booths, demos, collateral)
