Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Internal Communications Leader to support the Operations, IT, and Claims departments of a large, multinational insurance company. This temporary role will focus on managing and tracking all internal communications activities, ensuring clarity, consistency, and timely delivery across multiple business units.
The ideal candidate will have strong project‑management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to enhance the visual appeal of executive‑level presentations. Broader communications composition will also be part of the role, with AI tools (including Copilot) available to assist in content creation.
Responsibilities- Communications Management & Tracking: Maintain a centralized calendar and tracker for all communications activities across Operations, IT, and Claims, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and compliance standards.
- Executive Presentation Support: Enhance PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership, focusing on visual appeal and clarity; apply best practices for design and storytelling in executive communications.
- Content Development: Draft and edit internal communications (emails, newsletters, intranet posts) in collaboration with department leads; leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to streamline content creation and improve efficiency.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Partner with department heads and communications teams to ensure timely delivery of messages; act as a liaison between Operations, IT, and Claims for communication priorities.
- Strong organizational and project‑management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; ability to create visually compelling presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven experience in internal communications or related field within a corporate environment.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of internal communications best practices and change‑management principles.
- Advanced PowerPoint design skills (animations, templates, visual storytelling).
Expected salary range for this role is $53,300–$80,000 per year. Salary information is a general guideline only. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to candidate skills, experience, education, training, scope and responsibilities of the role, and market and business considerations.
