SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT SPECIALIST Remote

THE RUNDOWN Playfly Sports Properties seeks a forward-thinking Social Media Content Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the creative engine driving revenue growth by overseeing the end-to-end production of high-impact branded content and premium sponsorship opportunities across Instagram, Facebook, X, You Tube, and Tik Tok. You will sit at the intersection of athletics and marketing, architecting strategic content initiatives that deliver measurable value for our university partners and their corporate sponsors.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Drive incremental revenue by creating innovative, highly sponsorable content packages that empower local sales teams to confidently pitch and sell premium social media integrations

• Produce high-impact multimedia-including short-form video, reels, and carousels-that strategically align corporate sponsors with university athletic brands

• Collaborate with university athletic social media teams to produce branded social media content tailored to the distinct voice and tone of each university social media account

• Leverage real-time social analytics to continuously optimize content performance, refining distribution schedules, and audience-targeting to maximize reach and fan engagement

• Drive innovation by continuously monitoring technology and industry trends to position Playfly and its university partners as thought leaders at the forefront of social media engagement

• Other job duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field preferred

• Minimum 1-year experience in a creative production environment

• Strong knowledge of social media platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik Tok, You Tube etc.)

• Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) and AI assisted workflows

• Must be meticulous and can manage multiple projects

• Orientation toward providing excellent client service and following through on requests

• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide instruction and guidance to individuals who may not have a strong social media acumen

• Strong analytics, organizational, and critical thinking skills

TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Travel required of the position, approximately one trip every 1-2 months.
