Position Summary: The Repack associate is responsible for packaging daily required product and ensuring that product meets quality standards, while operating a stand up electric pallet jack
What you’ll do- First and foremost ensure that all good manufacturing practices are followed prior to and end of shift;
- Check product for quality prior to beginning packaging orders provided
- Package product, label and box or bin items per packaging specifications without error;
- Work diligently and efficiently through the day paying attention to detail;
- Complete pre-pack sheets accurately and provide to lead person;
- Work on QA returns, short quantities and damaged boxes and rework for inventory or dispose;
- Work on quality of repacked inventory if necessary to ensure customer satisfaction;
- Responsible for adhering to food security, food safety regulations and policies (SQF, HACCP, CGMPs;
- Other duties as assigned
- Stand up electric pallet jack skills and experience
- Understands and follows food safety practices consistently;
- Requires attention to detail, keeps a clean area, and organizational skills
- Good eye and hand coordination;
- Simple reading and math aptitude;
- Able to work in cold environment and stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
