Production Supervisor; 1st shift

Production Supervisor (1st or 2nd Shift)

Location: Dallas, TX

Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 base (DOE) + 10–15% bonus + benefits

Our client, the world’s largest manufacturer of pork rinds, is hiring Production Supervisors to join their Dallas operations team.

With more than 65 years of industry leadership and over $30M recently invested into facility upgrades and new product launches, this organization continues to grow and expand production capacity.

This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and oversees a 30–40 person production team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

They are looking for a confident leader who can think quickly, make decisions on the floor, and drive performance while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

• Lead daily production operations to ensure efficient processing and packaging of finished goods
• Supervise, coach, and support a team of approximately 30–40 hourly production employees
• Review production schedules, product specifications, and order timelines
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, and safety standards
• Enforce SOPs, GMPs, HACCP protocols, and plant safety programs
• Inspect production equipment and partner with maintenance to maintain performance
• Minimize waste, rejects, and downtime while maintaining accurate production records
• Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions
• Support onboarding and training of new production employees
• Maintain positive morale while addressing performance or disciplinary issues when necessary
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, and maintenance teams

• Experience in food manufacturing within a USDA or FDA-regulated environment
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, sanitation programs, GFSI, and food safety procedures
• Proven leadership experience managing production teams
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
• Typically 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing

1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM CT

2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 11:00 PM CT

Monday – Friday, weekends as needed
