A.

• Program, set‑up and operate computer controlled lathes and mills to fabricate metal parts.
• Study and interpret drawings, shop manuals and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Identify required tooling, set gauges and perform machine set‑up based on job requirements.
• Program CNC lathes and mills based on part drawings.
• Manufacture parts as outlined on drawings and part specifications.
• Inspect parts to confirm conformance to specifications.
• Perform daily and monthly maintenance tasks.

• Minimum 5 years lathe and mill experience.
• Experience with Haas and Mazak equipment required.
• Must be able to program most parts, including parts with complex designs.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prefer CNC Machine Operator Certificate.
• Must possess basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplication and division in all units of measure, and proficiency with geometry and trigonometry for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.
• Must have strong command of blueprint reading and an understanding of engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Must have working knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used for machining.
• Must have strong work ethic, professional attitude, be detail‑oriented as well as reliable.
