Dallas, TX | World-Class Manufacturing Company

Competitive Compensation + Full Benefits

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required MUST HAVE SOME GLASS MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE

We are a world-class manufacturing company seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support a high-volume, 24/7 glass manufacturing operation. This is a plant-floor engineering role, not a desk-only position. You'll work directly with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, safety, quality, and throughput in a continuous manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for engineers who want real ownership of equipment and processes, thrive in fast-paced operations, and are comfortable being hands-on in an active plant.

What You’ll Do
  • Support continuous manufacturing operations and critical equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and drive corrective actions
  • Improve equipment reliability, safety, yield, and uptime
  • Partner closely with maintenance technicians and operators on the plant floor
  • Review production and maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Support capital and continuous improvement projects
  • Provide off-hours support as needed for critical plant issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (entry-level to early-career considered)
  • Strong hands-on, problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working in a 24/7 plant environment, including occasional nights or weekends
  • Ability to work effectively with operations and maintenance teams
  • CAD experience (AutoCAD, Solid Works) preferred
  • Experience in glass or continuous process manufacturing is a plus
Benefits
  • Competitive base compensation
  • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO)
  • Long-term stability with a well-capitalized, industry-leading manufacturer
  • Real engineering impact with visible results on the production floor
  • Career growth in a technically demanding, high-performance environment

📩 Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume for consideration.
