- Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in appropriate shipping/holding area
- Unload materials from incoming trucks and stack them safely in their designated areas
- Unload trucks and deliver materials
- Operate forklift, yard truck and other mobile equipment
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the region
- Assist in performing inventory on material
- Perform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, pushing, reaching, bending over, climbing, and kneeling
- Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction and or manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Exhibit exceptional customer service skills with internal and external customers
- Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid drivers license with clean MVR
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
