Mail Production Operator

Our client, a digital printing and marketing operations company, is seeking an Mail Production Operator (Inserter Operator) to join their team. As a Mail Production Operator (Inserter Operator), you will be part of the Production Department supporting Print, Mail, and Shipping Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative, teachable mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00/hr (depending on experience)*

* Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (flexibility up to 12-hour shifts; Saturdays as needed) or 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM*
* ** Job Type: Full-time*
* ** What's the Job?*
* + Operate high-speed mail inserting equipment, including routine maintenance and minor repairs to minimize downtime

+ Read and follow work order specifications to ensure accurate production and job completion

+ Utilize Management Information Systems (MIS) to capture and track production data accurately

+ Perform quality checks by comparing printed mail pieces to approved audits prior to shipping

+ Communicate production delays, errors, or damaged materials to the Leadership Team and create service tickets when needed

** What's Needed?*
* + Proven experience operating inserting equipment (3+ years of experience preferred)

+ Basic knowledge of print, mail, and shipping processes

+ Ability to multitask and meet data-driven production metrics in a fast-paced environment

+ Self-motivated, resourceful, attentive to detail, and able to partner with and teach others

+ Ability to lift 50-75 lbs as required and maintain a clean, organized work area
