Position: Extrusions Supervisor (Night Shift) - Dallas, TX
Career Strategy Consultants is seeking a proactive and experienced Extrusions Supervisor to lead night shift operations for a high-volume manufacturing facility. This individual will oversee multiple frontline team members in the Extrusions Department, ensuring production targets are met while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

This is a key leadership role focused on supporting daily press operations, personnel development, and compliance with ISO 9001, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily shift activities (Presses, Rackers, Stackers, Saw Operators, etc.)
• Ensure production goals are met with a strong focus on quality, safety, and throughput.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and communicate expectations for workload and safety.
• Provide technical training, mentoring, and supervision for direct reports.
• Enforce ISO 9001 and company safety standards at all times.
• Identify nonconforming material/products and lead resolution efforts.
• Coordinate shift change communication to ensure seamless transitions.
• Track performance data, complete accurate shift documentation, and drive KPI adherence.
• Evaluate team members and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Participate in hiring decisions and disciplinary actions, as needed.
• Promote housekeeping and 5S practices across the department.
• Act as a back-up to the Extrusions Manager when needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in processes, personnel, and safety.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in extrusion operations.
• Associate's degree or technical school certification preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of extrusion press operations and downstream processes.
• Ability to lead and motivate production teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Comfortable enforcing policy and providing hands-on support when needed.
