Overview
Title: CNC Programmer
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
Salary Range: $50,000 – $80,000 (Employment Status: Non-Exempt, OT Eligible)
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Senior or Lead CNC Programmer to take ownership of our cutting operations. This individual will play a pivotal role in transforming engineering designs into efficient, optimized machine programs for our advanced CNC equipment. As part of a highly skilled, collaborative team, you ll have a direct hand in delivering mission-critical parts with precision—while exploring new technologies, driving improvements, and growing your career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Translate complex engineering drawings into CNC cut programs with high accuracy
- Nest parts by thickness to maximize material efficiency and minimize waste
- Determine plate requirements and cutting sequences based on project scope
- Set machine parameters and tool paths for precise, repeatable part production
- Maintain organized project logs to streamline cutting operations
- Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and quality teams to ensure alignment
- Contribute to process improvements, machine optimization, and system upgrades
- 3–5 years of hands-on CNC programming experience (lead-level preferred)
- Previous experience with Sigmanest and ability to implement skills immediately.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficient with ERP software and CNC programming tools
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
