Coordinator I – Inventory – 1st Shift (7:00 am – 3:30 pm – Monday - Friday)

Position OverviewThe Inventory Control Auditor performs smushing and slotting in the warehouse in accordance with established procedures and conducts order audits on the shipping dock for order accuracy. Proficient in case pick, layer pick, and CPC operations. Ensures the team efficiently picks customer orders for shipment, while confirming the correct number and type of damage‑free products are palletized and prepared to ship.
Ensures proper labeling is placed on all orders; maintains all data and records as appropriate. Also open to training to backfill other inventory members in their absence or upon operational need for critical functions such as order allocation, stock sync, destructions, buy backs, and returns.
- Execute the continuous cycle count program—counting materials in the warehouse and recording results into the RF.
- Oversee pallet audits on outbound shipments to ensure quality standards are maintained; report results to the DC.
- Keep daily records and exception reports on cycle counting and order auditing; produce monthly spreadsheets and commentary packages quantifying audit results.
- Process and issue credit memos to customers.
- Maintain records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security; assist in physical inventory.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area; assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse; conduct operations safely; comply with OSHA and other standards; report issues to management; coordinate with other departments.
- Work with cross‑functional teams in other departments/sites.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
- Efficient with Microsoft Office; demonstrated proficiency in all clerk responsibilities.
- Demonstrate 100% responsibility.
- Willingness to learn new operations/technologies.
