Key Areas of Responsibility- Perform data manipulation on the computer network, initiate production and laser printing jobs, and stage printed jobs in the production area to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Work closely with Facility Managers, Production Supervisors, and Leads to assist with customer directives, deliveries, changes, emergencies, and data issues.
- Communicate effectively with associates, project coordinators, and the Facility Manager while performing laser print functions according to daily job schedules.
- Manage multiple tasks on multiple printers simultaneously, balancing laminated runs and re‑runs with scheduled work.
- Use the ERP system to log time and materials and follow Total Cost Management guidelines.
- Maintain the work order system, keep records of jobs printed, tested, and checked via log or computer documents.
- Ensure printing quality standards by sampling, viewing, and checking print jobs.
- Assist with equipment maintenance by placing service calls to technicians.
- Maintain inventory levels of pre‑printed items in the warehouse and shelving units.
- Alert a supervisor if customer data is late to enable timely notifications or decisions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, use required PPE, and follow all safety rules.
- May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
- Complete any additional duties assigned by management.
- Demonstrate regular attendance, a drug‑free workplace, and adherence to all company safety policies.
Stands 2–3 hours or full shift, uses hands and fingers 1–3 hours per shift, reaches with hands and arms 1–3 hours per shift, lifts 50 pounds 1–3 hours per shift, requires close vision (clear at 20 inches or less) and color vision.
Minimum Education RequiredHigh School/GED.
QualificationsHigh‑school diploma or GED. Ability to embody and reflect Vestcom’s core values.
