Job Title:

CNC Punch Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Punch Press Operator with at least 2 years of experience in operating CNC Punch Press machines. This role requires a candidate who is proficient in reading blueprints, understands safety protocols, and is capable of performing precise machining operations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Punch Press machines safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize safety equipment appropriately in a machining environment.
  • Charge time accurately to specific work orders and manage payroll system entries.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for precise machining tasks.
  • Operate powered hand tools and maintain machine and area cleanliness.
  • Perform overhead crane operations.
  • Understand and execute 'G' code programming.
  • Use sensitive measurement equipment for accurate readings.
  • Locate, transfer, and execute programs for specific machining jobs.
  • Load and position parts correctly for program execution.
  • Shim punch and dies as necessary for accurate results.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Turret Punch Press Operator.
  • Proficiency in using protractors and reading blueprints.
  • Ability to perform setups and edit programs.
  • Understanding of G codes and ability to read sensitive measurement equipment.
  • Capability to deburr punched parts.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Amada Punch Press.
  • Familiarity with CNC Turret Punch Press, shear press, and CNC brake press operations.
  • Great attention to detail and precision in work.

Work Environment

The facility is located in West Dallas and specializes in manufacturing large HVAC Industrial Systems. The environment is non‑climate controlled, requiring adaptability and resilience. Work hours are from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
