We are currently seeking a technician to join a growing advanced manufacturing organization based in Dallas, TX. The company is developing next-generation technologies that are transforming the landscape of industrial production and clean technology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team driving U.S. manufacturing capability and long-term growth.

The Technician will play a vital role within the materials technology group, supporting the development and optimization of advanced manufacturing processes. This is a hands‑on position suited to a technically minded, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform analytical testing using techniques including ICP-OES, LECO CS/ONH, optical and electron microscopy, metallographic sample preparation, XRD, XRF, thermal analysis, and magnetometry, ensuring accuracy and reliability of all results.
  • Prepare and digest samples using wet chemistry methods such as acid digestion and fusion.
  • Conduct metallographic sample preparation, including cutting, mounting, and polishing for microstructural analysis.
  • Support troubleshooting, calibration, and routine maintenance of analytical instruments.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of procedures, data, and results, contributing to standard operating procedures and technical reports.
  • Ensure laboratory safety, organization, and compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle hazardous materials safely and responsibly using appropriate PPE and chemical handling protocols.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s degree in Chemistry or a related field, with 1+ years of experience working in a wet chemistry or analytical laboratory environment. You will bring a strong foundation in laboratory techniques, data accuracy, and safety practices, along with a proactive approach to learning and collaboration. Experience with one or more analytical techniques such as ICP-OES, LECO CS/ONH, microscopy, XRD, or XRF—will be highly regarded.
